Pricing

Your computer does the work. You keep the bill.

Cloud dictation charges monthly because every word costs them server time. Wrenscribe runs on your hardware, so there is no meter running.

Questions

About money.

Why is it free right now?

Because it costs us nothing to run. The models run on your computer, so there is no per-word server bill to pass on. Early access is also when we need the most feedback.

Why no subscription?

A subscription pays for servers, and Wrenscribe does not have any. Paying monthly for software that runs entirely on your own hardware never made sense to us.

Will early access users have to pay later?

The price for 1.0 has not been set. When it is, people on the waitlist hear about it first, with time to decide before anything changes.

Is there a word limit?

No. Dictate all day. Your computer is the only thing doing the work.
