Your dictionary
Add a word the way you want it spelled, plus the ways it gets misheard. Wrenscribe replaces those mishearings before the cleanup model runs, and sends your spellings to the model as hints. Turn on sound-alike matching for a word and near misses you did not list are caught too.
Your entries always run first, so they win over everything built in.
The built-in vocabulary
Wrenscribe ships with a list of product, company, tech and place names that the speech model measurably gets wrong: “clod code” for Claude Code, “Whisper Flow” for Wispr Flow, “Bazite” for Bazzite. Every entry was tested against recordings before it was added, and none of them are guesses. How the list was built.
Text inside paths, URLs and identifiers is never touched, and ordinary English words are left alone, so “fedora” the hat stays a hat. If you would rather not have the list at all, turn it off on the Dictionary page.
Snippets
A snippet is a trigger phrase and the text it stands for. Say the trigger and you get the saved text: a template, an address, a prompt you keep retyping.
Command mode
Select text in any app, hold the command shortcut and say an instruction such as “make this shorter” or “turn this into bullet points”. Wrenscribe copies the selection, rewrites it with the local model and pastes the result over it.
